Mama, I Want to Sing!
February 23 - March 12, 2023
The legendary Black Gospel musical, Mama, I Want to Sing!, returned home to Harlem for a special 40th anniversary Black History Month celebration. The production ran for three weeks at El Teatro at El Museo Del Barrio (formerly Heckscher Theater), where it first premiered in 1983.
