The Master Jazz Class

Series for the Advanced Jazz Singer Saturdays, Sept. 6, 13, 20 12 p.m.-3 p.m. Fine-tune your technique. Emphasis on breathing, diction, voice placement, and interpretation of material you bring to class. A keyboard player and bassist will support your work. In addition to personal attention, you will find the instruction given to others in this small class enlightening and helpful in your own process.

Instructor: Ulysses Slaughter is a premier performer and vocal coach. His most recent performer and vocal coach. His most recent performance credits include the Carnegie Recital Hall, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. If you can sing or think you can, audition for Gospel for Teens scholarship classes and choir!

2008 Audition Dates

Saturday, September 20, 1 – 3 p.m.
Friday, September 26, 4 -7 p.m.
Saturday, September 27, 1 – 3 p.m.
Fall term: October 4 to December 6, 2008
