Mama, I Want To Sing Cast Travels To Japan

Filed under: Gospel for Teens News — Deborah Singletary @ 4:34 pm

The cast of Mama, I Want to Sing: The Next Generation will tour Japan between December 1, 2013 and January 6, 2014 to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the first performance in Japan. Mama, I Want to Sing is credited with bringing gospel music to Japan, which now has many schools that teach this African-American art form.

Vy Higginsen couldnt be happier. She says International touring is an experience of a lifetime for the teens and a new experience for several of our adults as well. My hope is that they will begin to see another world from a different lens. The experience of eating, working and staying in a city like Tokyo allows one to broaden their horizons.
